The initial consultation is designed to give you a chance to share all the relevant information related to your health challenge so that a diagnosis can be determined. You and your practitioner will delve into past medical history, any medications, supplements, prior interventions etc. This will take approximately 1/2 hour. If it seems like acupuncture and herbs can be helpful then the last 45 minutes will be devoted to the initial acupuncture appt and creating the herbal protocol for you. 45 minute wellness session that may include acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, infared heat and electrical stimulation. Our approach is to calm the mind, move blood with targeted acupuncture protocols and allow the body to move into healing phase as quickly as possible. Once the mind is in parasympathetic phase the is able to enlist the help of the pineal gland, which releases growth hormone, and by needling specific points we can target the areas of concern for accelerated repair and rejuvenation. Many of the points we use have been scientifically proven to have beneficial effects on the central nervous system and can induce a deep state of calm very efficiently.
